A ROOM FOR ALL SEASONSThis modern addition to a traditional wood-shingled Sonoma County farmhouse creates a much needed indoor-outdoor space for daily life. Rather than replicate the aesthetics of the existing residence, the design reflects the surrounding hardwood decks. In winter, warmth and light from the low-lying sun floods the room and the fireplace provides coziness. In summer, the room provides much needed shade and walls of windows open to capture cool evening breezes.
