We’re excited to share the news of the publication of our Lafayette project in the Fall issue of California Home and Design!
This project was a full-house renovation, inside and out. We transformed the house from a collection of stylistically and functionally disparate rooms into a cohesive home, centered around a new kitchen. Thank you to our incredible clients and builders for a great collaboration.
As we move into Fall, where the day length shortens rapidly, the shadows lengthen and we witness nature’s grand finale for the year, we wish you a wonderful season of gatherings with family and friends.

MID-CENTURY MINDSET
This renovation modernized a ranch house while honoring its mid-century roots. A reimagined kitchen now connects seamlessly to the home and outdoor spaces. Rich finishes, bold accents, and vaulted ceilings add warmth and architectural interest.

THINGS TO CHECK OUTTierney Conner Architecture is an Oakland-based studio founded in 2004 that integrates architecture, interior design, and landscape design in-house for custom residential, multi-family, and commercial clients across the East Bay and San Francisco Bay Area. The practice is led by partners Anne Tierney, Erin Conner, and J. Jarrell Conner, and is located at 363 17th Street in downtown Oakland.
